Day and Night

Hi, beauties and gentlemen!

It’s been a while, right?!

I’m so touched by the messages I’ve received about the whereabouts of my usual Monday posts, and as much as you’ve missed reading them, I’ve missed posting, too! However, I’ve been swamped with life, family, and a few awesome but time-consuming projects, one in particular that I can’t wait to share in more depth (be on the lookout for deets this week!)

So, let’s talk fashion! Recently, on my blogs and Instagram posts, I’ve been focusing on re-wearing my clothes and making sure the pieces I buy serve multiple purposes. This strategy is not only budget-friendly, but this also has a lot to do with the value of sustainable fashion. If you haven’t checked out my blog entry about this hot topic, definitely take a look here!

I created a cute space in my closet to shoot my looks and display alternatives, and I hope you’re inspired to do the same, as I think we can not only be fashionable and fly but also do our part in helping the environment, too.

The other afternoon, I was out and about doing my normal after-school activities with my youngest son, and I decided to wear a hoodie by Fenty and a sequin skirt by Opening Ceremony.

When I’m running around, the boy sneakers always win me cool points with my sons, and I feel super comfortable in the process. Style + comfort has always been my go-to combination.

Later that evening, my hubby and I decided to head out for a quick date. In my mind, I was almost date-night ready with my cute sequin skirt, but I switched up my look a bit and added a pump and swapped out the bag, and I was ready to go.

I loved this monochromatic look because the options were endless. I had so much fun by using what I had in my closet to create a few different options that served both day and night.

Be sure to check out my Instagram post and tell me which version of this look you like best.

Beauties, how do you remix your clothes? Do you look to purchase transitional pieces that can be styled in several different ways?

Readers, don’t be shy. Contact me and share your thoughts. Until next time!

Stylishly,

Dionne
