Putting the Power in Power Suit

Hi, beauties and gentlemen!

Although it feels like yesterday, it has been a couple of weeks since the OFTWA Fashion Show, and I'm still reminiscing on this amazing event. I have great news about the event, too - we reached our fundraising goal! I couldn't be more pleased. Our chosen organizations are so worthy of our participation, support, and involvement.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be recapping my looks from the Superbowl! The events leading up to the big game were a blast, and I had the chance to dress up a bit and really tap into my personal style.

The first look involves a power suit. Bright power suits have really been a vibe lately. The suit I'm wearing is by The Attico, and I really love the relaxed fit of their blazers and pants. In fact, I love the pants so much that I purchased them in pink as well.

The top is my new staple - it's a sequined T-shirt by Bailey 44, and they happen to come in a few different colors, so I'm on my way to collecting them all.

The shoes are a special steal. I couldn't get my hands on the pvc Amina Muaddi version, but Akira came through with the inspired version, and these budget-friendly shoes are surprisingly comfortable!

The theme of the fashion show was “Vintage Miami.” I tried to channel my inner Don Johnson. How'd I do?

Ladies, as spring approaches, are you getting into the bold-colored power suit trend?

Readers, don’t be shy. Contact me and share your thoughts. Until next time!

Stylishly,

Dionne
