When summer rolls around, I feel extra excited to break out my favorite bright pieces, airy dresses, and strappy sandals. And every year, I make a mental note as to the summer accessories I just have to have, and this year was no exception! Take a look below to discover the summer accessories I’m loving this season.
The belt bag: Ask anyone who knows me – I may have been the last “fashionista” to embrace the resurgence of the fanny pack. To be honest, I did not believe the hype, thought they were trendy, and believed they would disappear before I could get my money’s worth. I will admit, not only are they stylish but they are a win-win because fanny packs are hands-free. Click here to check out a personal favorite.
Bamboo earrings: Once again, this was a hard one for me because I am a classic stud girl, admittedly resistant to change, but there is something about the right size bamboo earrings that give me a sexy summertime vibe. I have a few custom pairs with my name that I purchased from Etsy. I was actually surprised by the quality and the price!
Straw bags: A cute straw bag is always a vibe in the summer. Currently, I’m in love with the Le Grand Baci woven straw bag by Jacquemus. If you’re not here for the oversized version, they come in a few different sizes.
Oversized sunnies: This summer, the bigger the pair, the better! I’m loving Christian Dior’s Solight Gradient Shield Sunglasses and Fenty’s BLOCKT MASK sunglasses.
Headbands/headpieces: These are definitely trending this season, and I’m here for it, from the cute and embellished pieces to the over-the-top leather and studded headpieces by Prada! I’m here for it all summer 2019. Gotta love fuss-free hair with a chic headband for that added pop. This particular headband is a summertime favorite, and I can easily wear this well into other seasons, too.
